We’re the Schnitzelburg Area Community Council (SACC) and we represent the Schnitzelburg neighborhood in Louisville, Kentucky. We are a volunteer-led organization that is committed to the betterment of Schnitzelburg’s present and future, while upholding our cherished past. One of Louisville’s Oldest Neighborhood Associations
Founded in 1977, SACC has served Schnitzelburg for over 45 years. We’re an advocate for residents and business, we promote smart development, we enhance our built environment, and we host nearly 30 community events throughout the year. Our Board volunteers hundreds of hours of their time to the planning and promotion of events that bring neighbors together and enrich our community.

SACC plans and promotes nearly two dozen free community events serving neighbors of all ages throughout the year. We host speakers from organizations, businesses and local government at six neighborhood meetings and participate in many more events throughout the neighborhood.
